A Cottage Guest Registration Form will be sent once your booking is confirmed. This must be completed and returned to finalize your reservation. You will also receive check-in instructions and your keyless entry code two days prior to your arrival.

We strive to provide a peaceful, enjoyable stay for every guest while also adhering to the strict short-term rental bylaws implemented by the City. These regulations are mandatory for all licensed hosts, and non-compliance can result in significant fines, demerit points, or even loss of our rental license. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful environment for everyone.

1. No parties or events are permitted on the property — no exceptions, thank you for understanding.
2. A maximum of 8 adults are allowed on site unless prior written consent is provided.
3. There is a strict by-law which enforces no loud music or loud noise outdoors after 10:00 PM.
4. No smoking is allowed inside the home or on the exterior deck near windows or entrances.
5. Parking is limited to 3 vehicles in the driveway (City bylaw).
6. Street parking is not permitted and is strictly enforced by the City.
7. Cottage registration must be completed fully at time of booking. No additional guests are permitted on the property without prior consent from the Luma Lakehouse team.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available depending on upcoming reservations — please reach out, and we can confirm availability within two days of departure.

Yes — our parking space can accommodate up to 3 cars.

Yes — the private lakeview hot tub is available year-round for guest enjoyment. It is professionally serviced and maintained between stays to ensure a clean and relaxing experience in every season.

Luma Lakehouse offers unobstructed lakefront views, but there is no direct access to the water from the property. For swimming and beach access, Jones Beach is just a 6-minute walk away, along with scenic waterfront trails and other nearby outdoor spaces to explore.

Up to 2 small to medium size dogs are allowed. No other pets are permitted. The pet fee is $110 for one dog and $160 for two dogs.

A washer and dryer are not available for guest use. For longer stays, we're happy to arrange laundry service for an additional fee or provide recommendations for nearby self-service options.

Absolutely. We love welcoming our littlest guests and offer a complimentary pack-and-play, along with a high chair or booster seat, to help make your family's stay comfortable and easy. We also include a curated selection of children's books and toys as a special touch, so toddlers and little kids feel just as considered as everyone else. Please note that we expect guests to bring their own sheets for the pack and play.

After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive our curated digital guidebook featuring our favorite things to do, dine, shop, and explore in the Niagara region.

We offer personalized concierge assistance to coordinate both in-home experiences and outings beyond the lakehouse — from private chefs, in-home massages, and yoga sessions to wine tours, restaurant reservations, and car rentals. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund, less applicable credit card processing fees. Cancellations made 15–29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund, less processing fees. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
